Editorial Policy

CodexTheme.dev publishes original native theme records and independent research about external Skin tools. Our goal is to make the difference between those two categories unmistakable.

Native themes

Native themes are original CodexTheme.dev palettes encoded in the share format supported by the tested Codex desktop build. Each record states its tested platform, verification date, and format. A color-study preview is not represented as an application screenshot.

External Skins

Skin listings point to third-party repositories. We record the repository URL, exact source revision, observed version, platform requirements, license status, verification date, known risks, and restore guidance. We do not mirror installers or imply ownership of upstream projects.

If a repository becomes unavailable or cannot be verified, its listing is marked stale or limited. No outside relationship changes a verification result.

Reviews and corrections

Articles include source links and review dates. Material compatibility claims are rechecked against the listed source. Corrections are made in place and the review date is updated.
